(I'm am Nearsighted.) In the waiting room, there was a movie playing about Paragon CRT lenses that you can wear only at night and have perfect vision ALL DAY. My doctor told me that I would be a great candidate for CRT. Later in the month I was fitted for the CRT lenses. It attaches right to the pump! Using infrared technology to communicate info from the meter to the pump, it transfers my blood sugar reading right to the pump. I can then choose whether or not I want to do a correction bolus or meal bolus. Very cool. One less thing to carry. Got my updated Thyroid tests back today and my bloodwork is NORMAL. I'm euthyroid. Very strange. The doctor said I may get hypothyroid, but it is unlikely.

In the morning, they gave me 2 radioactive pills, and said to come back at 2pm. I did, and it was 2 hours of long, boring scans. One measured the amount of radioactive iodine uptake in my thyroid and compared it to what was in the rest of my body.
